How To Start Up Your Nitro RC Car Using a Pull-Start

If you pull the pull-start to hard or far, you will tangle the wire. To fix this, simply unscrew the pull-start from the car and re-line it up.

make sure you servo …
make sure you servo linkages and correct and when there is no input (idle) that the carb (take air filter off) is only just open and that it opens full when you apply full throttle, if that is ok, try turning you low speed needle down ( the one that is in the carb and does not stick out because it the high speed needle.
