I have gotten an rc nitro car a couple of years ago it is stock no work done to it. I just want to know if my rc car can drift if the right drifting tires are on it.
I am not sure of all of the specs, all answers appreciated!!!
it was a few years ago I bought it.
the manual says: o.s 12,15,18 cv-ex series if that helps
Brand? Model? Power?
Drifting is sliding sideways while going around a turn.
Therefore, to drift, you have to have enough space and low enough friction so you can break the wheels free to start the sliding.
In the extreme, on a large smooth surface with hard tires, you could drift any car (see also driving on ice or using a water skid pad) although it would be extremely difficult to drive in the ordinary way.

I am getting a new Volcano S30 nitro rc car made by Redcat Racing. What type of fuel (brand and nitro percentage) should I get for this car? Also, i want the engine to last longer, and to keep the car cooler.

im a begginer at driving rc cars and i would like to know which nitro rc car would be the best to get?
Conway is right, Traxxas is an outstanding brand! PLUS, the electronics are waterproof. So if you are running in the rain or have snow in the winter, your RC is protected. If you want a quality RC, you should stick with the brand of Traxxas, HPI, Associated, Tamiya, Losi or Kyosho. Stay away from Walmart and Radio Shack RCs. They are pretty much junk. The brands I mentioned are going to cost some money but are well worth it. One of my first RCs was the Traxxas T Maxx. It's a monster truck and will go anywhere. Check out www.towerhobbies.com and search each of the names I gave you. If you see something you like, do a YouTube search and watch some videos. This will give you an idea of how the RC runs before you buy it. Again, they are expensive but anything else is just junk and going to break. Hope this helps and enjoy the hobby!

I just got rc nitro car and every time i put it on the ground it takes off without throttle
MOST do NOT have a clutch assembly.
IF it is running, it will turn the wheels, and therefore it will move.
How fast depends on the throttle, or the linkage is not correctly set.

http://www.xnitrorc.co.uk - rc big air jump compilation 2011
This week was a little different than most Richard, Steve and Dave went racing at a nearby track and then up to bramcote later on in the day . So there wasn't much footage of the cars this weekend. The intention was to record at the track but we were too busy repairing our cars during races we didnt have enough time.
Instead we have put together a compilation of the huge big air jumps we have done this year.
Enjoy the video!
Duration : 4 min 43 sec

Hey all I've just purchased a nitro rc buggy and need to break it in, what are the best and easiest ways to do it? Cheers.
It all depends on how big the engine is. Your average .18-.21 run a couple of tanks with no load, ie. tires off the ground, and at a rich setting. After that your O.K. to run it but not full throttle for to long, and don't lean it out all at once. take another three tank, leaning it out a little more with each tank. By five tanks you should be able to haul a__.. Didn't it come with a manual?
